In honor of Easter and the season for things popping up, Snaggle has decided to come out of his ascetic meditative hibernation retreat. Snnnnuuuuffffle!!! The first thing to do when getting out of hibernation is to thoroughly snuffle everywhere. The next thing to do is find a purpose for that snuffling. For that reason, Snaggle will now share his special Easter Cake recipe:
4 eggs (not dyed or hardboiled)
1 1/2 cups yogurt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup FAT
2 lemons
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
Mix the eggs, yogurt, sugar, and fat. Grate the peel off the lemons, then cut them into bits and add it all in. Add in flour and baking powder and stir it all well, making sure it's nice and battery without being to runny... snaggle can't stand it when things get tooooo runny. The proper consistency is more on the globby side.
Then glob it all in a greased round cake pan or 8x13 square pan or whatever cute receptacle, and bake it all at about 350° until it's nice and golden and springy.
Let cool slightly and serve with globs of whipped cream and strawberries.
Happy easter snuffling!
